Japanese Retailer Gives Sony The Boot

Japan loves Sony right? Wrong. At least, not one particular retailer who has decided to quit stocking any of Sony’s consoles due to poor sales. The picture to the left is a sign that was put out in front of the store. It translates to this:
Information about no longer carrying new products
We regret to announce… PlayStation 2 As well as all related items will no longer be carried as of April 30th. Let’s hope for Sony’s sake, this isn’t a sign of things to come, and just one isolated retailer changing their product line. Something tells me there are a few people over at Microsoft snickering to themselves and thinking “Now you know how we feel”. |
