First Pics from set of Hitman - Fanboys Commence Whining

Filmwad.com has posted the first images, from the set of Hitman, of Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47. Expect relentless fanboy whining to commence shortly.
I’ll admit, I’ve regrettably not played a whole lot of the Hitman series. I have, however, watched my fair share of Deadwood, and will vouch for Olyphant’s status as a bad ass.
Fanboys’ time would probably be better spent worrying less about whether or not Olyphant’s look is quite right, and maybe a little more about whether or not Xavier Gens, the director, can even pull the film off.
Gens’ only previous Hollywood experience seems to be working as a trainee assistant director on a couple of Jean-Claude Van Damme films. The studio obviously believes he can do it, but how many times have movie executives been right about any other video game themed films so far?
Hitman is scheduled to be released October 12.

Olyphant who? I have played almost all of the Hitman games. The movie sounds cool but Hollywood never makes decent video game movies. they should work with the game developers so they quit sucking. I predict this movie will be Xavier Gens next step to Uwe Boll status.
