Two Star Wars Games To Keep An Eye On

With this year being the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, geeks everywhere are celebrating the glorious memories of years past. And game developers are right along side to help fill the void left behind by the films.

    Star Wars: The Complete Saga

This fall, LucasArts will be releasing ‘Star Wars: The Complete Saga’. This new game will allow people to play through all six episodes. One thing to keep in mind however, is that this new game is being developed by EA, while the first two Star Wars Lego games were developed by Traveller’s Tales. Let’s hope EA can live up to the expectations that Traveller’s Tales help establish with gamers.

    Star Wars: Force Unleashed

It’s no secret that I love the Star Wars Lego series. I’m still a bit miffed, however, that one of the best Star Wars series features cute little block characters made out of plastic. I am still waiting for a realistic Star Wars title that matches the fun and gameplay of the Lego series. Enter “Star Wars: Force Unleashed”.

Ever since the original tech demo, we’ve all been waiting to see how this game turns out. Finally, a game that really lets players use the force to kick the enemies ass. No seriously, the slogan by the development team is “Kicking someone’s ass with the force”. Can’t go wrong there! Check out the developer interview below, and get happy over the fact that it appears we may finally get a Star Wars game that does the force justice.
