Lego Video Game Screenshots & Characters

Hot on the heels of my lego game animations post, here I am with more old school lego creations. This time it’s not animations, but screenshots and characters from a bunch of retro games. After a somewhat lengthy discussion about legos, sparked by the videos the other day, a friend showed me a couple sites.

First is a gallery from a guy who goes by the alias “skinny coder” over on Flickr.

Hit the jump for the characters.

The second is ‘The Brothers Brick‘ which has a ton of Lego Models, not just video game characters. Here are some of the better ones featured on their site.

When is Lego gonna wise up and use this as a marketing tool? I’m convinced, after my newfound awareness of the love gamers have for legos, that if they released box sets for video game scenes and characters - people would buy them. Would you?
