Call of Duty 4 “Last Stand” Video

This is officially more than I have ever talked about Call of Duty. I don’t know what it is about this new one that has me so excited, but I digress. Gamevideos recently posted this new video showing gameplay entitled “Last Stand.” I haven’t seen anything else about this yet, but from the video, it looks like if you get into a firefight, right before you die, you lose your main weapon and just have a pistol. Notice the text that pops up with an X button prompt next to it that says, “Hold X Coward’s Way Out.” Which I guess means you can just french kiss your pistol instead of slugging it out like a man. It’s an interesting dynamic that I haven’t really seen before in a game. Stay tuned to see how it factors into the gameplay.
