The reviews are starting to come in on the uber-hyped Assassin’s Creed (did I really just watch a South Park episode that only took breaks to show Assassin’s Creed commercials?), and the consensus is that it’s totally…well, you know…fine. Many of the complaints ( IGN, 1up) cite the repetition of intelligence gathering and a weak storyline. They also claim that the game could have been great, but doesn’t live up to its own premise. The commercials are very cinematic in nature, not showing much gameplay, and that’s usually a bad sign.

So hearing these complaints, I crafted a few games that I think people would rather play. They won’t disappoint.

There are only three fights in the game, and you always get killed by Ivan Drago. But bonus stages include homo-erotic beach running with Rocky, and shopping for an American flag and top hat.

You track down Scott Stapp from the drunken haze he’s been in, and torture him in various ways. Mostly by making him listen to his own music.

    Well, that was ridiculous.
