Jade Raymond Is Hot AND Speaks French

There has been a bit of controversy surrounding poor ol’ Jade Raymond the past several days. Some people are saying she is nothing more than a pretty face for Ubisoft to display at their Assassin’s Creed dog and pony show. Whether she did or didn’t have a lot to do with the actual development is a different story though. The real question we should all be asking ourselves is when the hell did Jade become fluent in french?
I saw this interview over on Daily Motion. The interview is subtitled, and begins with some French guy asking Jade a question about Assassin’s Creed. Seemed normal enough, until it came time for Jade to respond, at which point she starts firing off french like nobody’s business. See for yourself:
After looking into the video a bit more, I realized it is from back in June of ‘07. So am I the only person on the internets that didn’t know this about her? Ubisoft is a French based company, so I guess it makes sense, but still … I think she may be a robot in disguise - sort of like a Transformer, only hotter.
