GTA IV Box Art Revealed. How Exciting.

Rockstar Games revealed GTA’s box art this week, letting everyone get a glimpse of what will be hidden on their shelf for the next 3 years. Since the game has already been delayed until next year, this splashy new reveal does nothing for me. Who gets excited about the cover of a game? It’s not like the old Nintendo days, when all you had to go by was the cover and a glowing review from Nintendo Power. (Seriously, did Nintendo Power ever give bad reviews to their own games?)
If you’re not going to release the game when you say you are, don’t dangle the box art in front of us like a fat girl on a diet watching Food Network. It looks so damn good, but all we can do is look at it, drool, and eat our rice cakes (Halo 3).
