Wii Lives Up To Its Name

    Calvin Wii
It probably looked something like this.

IGN posted a funny story today that I thought I’d share. Actually, it was just an excuse to make one of those annoying ‘Calvin pees on something’ pictures, but it’s funny regardless.

    From IGN:

UK, January 3, 2008 - Everyone’s favourite piece of London flotsam - free commuter rag Metro - this morning carried a story of peculiar festive cheer, as well as a case of young gamers taking the name of their console of choice a little too literally.

Little Danny Emsley was delighted to be one of the lucky few to bag a Wii console this Christmas and duly spent most of the holiday period playing with his new toy. This inspired the ire of his four-year-old brother Ellis, who took matters into his own hands. Inspired by the oft-mocked name of Nintendo’s belle, he proceeded to urinate all over the console, unsurprisingly rendering it out of action.

This is one of those things that little Danny will remember forever. A ruined memory from his childhood that will cause a festering hatred for his brother, only to be revealed 20 years later through a drunken, spiteful wedding reception speech. I’m just assuming. This definitely hasn’t happened to me. Yet.
